Recovery
The ‘Recovery Program’ commences with a face to face assessment, allowing a care plan to be written. This encompasses all aspects of a person’s life, including their dreams and goals for the future. To fulfill the plan, recovery staff are allocated to a person to ensure their needs are met, whether that be education, life skills, preparation for employment, meaningful occupation, counselling, health, promoting positive relationships and/or socialising.
Family and Carer
The ‘Carer Program’ commences with a face to face assessment which utilises MI-CAT (Mental Illness Carer Assessment Tool) to develop a care plan.
We acknowledge that carers are a key member of a person’s recovery team. We understand the importance of providing support, counselling and advice to carers.
Individual and group sessions are available with experienced counsellors/facilitators.
Our service covers many areas in the South West and the Great Southern including Katanning, Kojonup and Wagin.
Supported Housing
We are a registered, Housing Authority provider; we maintain a number of houses dedicated to those experiencing mental illness. As a landlord, we focus on reducing many of the tensions created by difficulties in finding accommodation and maintaining properties in good order.
